Community Health Assessment

The Work Group team employs a multi-method, collaborative approach to assessing community needs and resources. The Work Group is experienced in methods including conducting focus groups, key informant interviews, Local Public Health System Assessments, community concerns surveys, review of key community health status indicators, small area analysis, and PhotoVoice. The Work Group supports data analysis for converging themes and helps communities prioritize issues to create conditions for promoting health.

Community Health Improvement Planning

The Work Group draws on decades of experiences of experience with community coalitions and partnerships to help communities engage diverse stakeholders in the important work of planning for improvement.  Upon completion of a community assessment, Work Group staff can support community leaders and residents in prioritizing and planning for how to comprehensively address community issues to support their vision of a healthier community.
