Background and Professional Interests
Briana Lynch is a first year Master’s student in the Department of Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Community Health and Development. Ms. Lynch completed her undergraduate at KU in Applied Behavioral Science specializing in youth development and juvenile justice. Her experience includes developing and constructing research in truancy intervention and prevention programs, youth mentoring programs, and treatment of youth with behavioral disorders in community settings.
Briana's research interests include:
- Using applied behavioral methodology as a base to approach socially significant problems
- Understanding and improving conditions for youth in foster care
- Capacity building for systems changes in community groups
