Background and Professional Interests

Shelby Akers supports the Center, our community partners, and our research staff in a variety of ways. Shelby processes partner invoicing, helps with website maintenance, handles publication orders and their dissemination, manages inventory, assists with travel authorizations, reimbursement, and more. Shelby also produces documents in alternate formats, like Braille.

Shelby graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in art and minor in art history.
